Our Mission

At Peanuts Wellbeing Sanctuary our direction is to “Break the Cycle of Abuse” for children and animals. This is achieved by Compassion Therapy with joining our rescued animals with children from dysfunctional, neglected and abusive backgrounds to nurture and aid in the understanding of empathy and compassion toward others.

By helping the children at their level, it stems their behaviour as they grow into adults to prevent them from venting their anger and frustrations on helpless animals and their peers. This helps them understand that violence is not the answer and in turn leads them away from bullying, domestic violence and a life of crime.

Our initiative leads to a better life for all children, adults, animals and for the communities in which we all live.

Peanuts Wellbeing Sanctuary is a non-profit charity, and do not receive any financial assistance from the government. You can make one off or monthly donation. Or you can donation Goods in Kind to help all the fur family, please do not hestiate to contact us.. Donations over $2 are tax deductible and are greatly appreciated.

Wellbeing Wednesdays

Got the mid-week Covid blues? Feel like everyday is rolled into one with Lockdown? We need your help! Here is a chance to help you get over ‘hump’ day by giving up that mid-week ‘treat’ and making a small contribution that will go towards our ‘new’ project, ‘Peanuts Orphans’.

You can choose to donate a small amount every week from as little as $5. Knowing that your small sacrifice each week is going to support the fostering and re-homing of orphaned animals. We know that everyone is doing it tough right now, but even a small contribution of $5 each week will help launch this amazing project off the ground. You will feel amazing knowing that you are helping beautiful young souls find a ‘fur-ever’ home!

Sponsorship is great – so how about a whole paddock! We have re-homed many animals into loving families but due to age, illness or abuse, they have needed a lot of time to rebuild their trust in humans again. As a result, many need to stay at Peanuts. You can help with the ongoing maintenance and support of these animals at the sanctuary by sponsoring one of our paddocks – so instead of just sponsoring one individual animal you get the opportunity to sponsor a group of animals!
