What is Vocalzone?

Vocalzone throat care is a range of teas and pastilles, which are registered with the Vegan Society.

Our pastilles differ from other popular throat remedies in that they do not contain numbing agent, Benzocaine which can mask underlying vocal damage. Vocalzone throat pastilles provide a soothing, clearing and relieving sensation for your throat. Our original red boxed pastilles have been the best friend of singers, actors and other voice professionals for over 100 years with a distinctive powerful flavour which certainly packs a punch. We have now expanded our range to include refreshing Honey & Lemon and Blackcurrant flavours.

Vocalzone pastilles are gluten & lactose free as well as suitable for Vegans. Our Blackcurrant pastilles are even sugar free!

For over 100 years Vocalzone Throat Care was a one product brand.

Our original Vocalzone pastilles with their very acquired taste! Although adjustments were made to ensure the formula was Vegan, it was largely untouched from William Lloyd’s original 1907 invention. Of course some Vocalzone fans have grown to love the distinctive taste of our original pastilles, but many suggested that the time had come for us to launch new flavours. We finally took the leap in 2018 launching our refreshing Honey & Lemon Pastilles alongside a Blackcurrant Sugar Free flavour.

Our powerful and distinctive Original pastilles are created using a formula, which has been largely untouched since they were first produced as a pastille in 1912. In 2014 we altered the formula slightly to ensure that it was completely Vegan. In 2019 we were proud to register the full Vocalzone range with the Vegan Society.

How does Vocalzone work?

Voice problems are often unavoidable if you rely on your voice professionally. Vocalzone Pastilles have been formulated for vocal care and designed specifically to relieve irritations due to excessive singing, speaking or smoking. It also soothes dry, irritated throats that often accompany a common cold. Vocalzone pastilles are ideally suited to helping all voice professionals maintain their clarity of voice. It’s the unique blend of our powerful ingredients that has made Vocalzone the performers’ household name it is today. Vocalzone pastilles are formulated using essential oils, which reach your vocal folds as you inhale whilst consuming a pastille.

Myrrh Tincture

The myrrh in Vocalzone acts as an anti-inflammatory on swollen capillaries.

As an astringent, it also helps regulate mucous retention. It also stimulates blood circulation, helping to fight infection and speed healing when you have a cold.

Vocalzone Tea

Our tea is no ordinary tea; it’s a powerful, naturally caffeine free herbal product blended by experts – with key ingredients used for hundreds of years. We launched our Myrrh & Mint tea in 2017 as a limited edition run, but due to popular demand we continued production and have now expanded the range to include our Lemon, Ginger & Manuka Leaf and Red Sage & Fennel teas.

Our teas have been specifically formulated to soothe hard working voices and coat the throat to relieve any irritation. Vocalzone teas contain only natural ingredients and are suitable for Vegans.

Vocalzone was incorporated as a company over 100 years ago, with our iconic throat pastilles being sold for the first time in 1912.
