Our Amsterdam Bed & Breakfast is as unique as it sounds. Expect mind-blowing art on walls, loads of positive vibes, a yummy vegan organic breakfast and a cute and sun-bathed garden. Be yourself and enjoy your stay with us! We speak English, French and Dutch.
You and us
As a polyamorous, non-heteronormative, intercultural couple of weirdoes – among many other labels – we have decided to create a safe and welcoming place in Amsterdam for people like us, and people like you. Are you into alternative culture, mind-expanding art and adventures? Or perhaps you enjoy a place where you can freely express your identity when it comes to feminism, queerness, or ethical non-monogamy?
Yes? Come over! No? That’s perfectly fine too; we may convert you if you wish 😉

If you are thinking about choosing the FireJuice for your Amsterdam accommodation, here is what you can expect from your stay, in addition to friendly hugs!
Convenient location
The FireJuice is just 30 minutes away from Central Station by public transport and is located in a nice and green neighborhood by a small canal. Several grocery stores are 5 minutes walking from home.
Vegan Breakfast – The Second B in B&B
For travelers, who usually have days (and nights) which are full of exciting plans, a good and healthy breakfast is indispensable. The FireJuice breakfast will cater to your needs, with delicious organic and locally-sourced food.
The entire breakfast is completely vegan! Think about dried fruits, muesli, homemade bread with a wide range of toppings, scrambled tofu and a fresh yummy juice or smoothie… Depending on the season and on our goodwill, you may get a slice of banana bread or blackberry waffles as well. We experiment regularly with breakfast extras! Let us know in advance if you have any special dietary breakfast needs, like nut allergies or if you eat gluten-free.
Free parking
You can park your vehicle for free on the parking lot in front of the house, on any available spot. We advise you to use public transportation or bikes to travel around Amsterdam, since it is very difficult and expensive to park anywhere except in some residential neighborhoods. Besides, cycling and walking are the most natural, fitting ways to explore this city!
WiFi
Don’t worry! There is WiFi at the FireJuice, so it’s possible to spam all your friends with pictures of your wonderful room or Instagram your breakfast.
Shared bathroom
We have one bathroom with a bathtub and a shower. An urgent need? Run to the second toilet downstairs where a wide range of interesting reading and coloring material has been selected just for you. We understand if you get distracted and spend a long time there.
Use of the space and smoking policy
Guests are welcome to use the garden and the kitchen, provided that it is left in the state it was found.
Smoking is not allowed inside the house. However an ashtray is at your disposal in the garden. We do not mind if you smoke funny cigarettes, as long as you know what your limits are and remain responsible. Cigarette butts found outside of the ashtray will be served back to their owner with breakfast.
City tips
We will be glad to give you personalized tips and directions, depending on what you feel like doing in the city. Ask us about independent cinemas, social centers, markets, alternative spaces and whatever not, and check our facebook page for interesting events. We have some maps and guides available to you.
Pets
We do not have pets at home but we can consider accommodating a clean, friendly animal. If you would like to come with your pet, we can discuss this in advance. However, this is entirely done on a case-by-case basis.
Shroom room
Fly high!
Welcome to the Shroom Room. This is the kind of room you have been dreaming of as a child, and likely never really got, and guess what… You still want it. So here is your opportunity.
Take off and follow one of the gracious flying creatures to the party island and meet the mushroom wizard. Lie down in the middle of the vortex and gaze up at the cosmic whirlpool. If this does not convince you, we do not know what would. And don’t worry, the All-Seeing Eye is always vigilant.
The Shroom Room is an artwork by the hand of Kamiel Proost. This Amsterdam-based painter, poet and all-around artist has been creating wonderful imagination-worlds for over 25 years. His influences range from Mexican tattoos to Hieronymus Bosch, with a very surrealist, ethereal, dream-like style. If you want to see more of his work, a visit to the Kokopelli in the city center is highly recommended, as you can admire (and possibly purchase) some prints of his work.
The room comes with a double bed (160 x 200) with a lovely firm memory foam mattress.
Agua room
Dive deep…
We know, you might still be disappointed that you were not born as a mermaid. Being here will soothe that pain. Come, spend some time beneath the waves and wait for the night to see all the majesty of the glowing jellyfish and their surroundings. Moon, sun, corals and other surprises lie in the details of this harmonious seascape.
The Agua Room features immersive artwork by K. D. Ignetas, aka ChiTreeKai. After studying design in Germany, the artist spent some years living and working in Southeast Asia. Now based in Germany, his art is ‘inspired by nature, the elements and the Tao of Ever-Changing Cycles, the Zen of Harmonic Imperfection and direct experience through the abstract in balance and vibrant energy in the polar dance of unity’. He is also responsible for ‘The Rise and Shine Abundance Tree’ growing in the living area.
The room comes with a large double bed (180 x 200) and blacklight lamp to explore the glowing mysteries of the depth.
