Mensen blijken een ingewikkelde relatie te hebben met het varken. Het is een bijzondere band, vol genegenheid, afkeer, sentimentaliteit, schuldgevoel en bovenal onwetendheid. Een kortademig, dik rond varken dat nauwelijks nog kan lopen, vindt men komisch en vertederend, terwijl een gezond actief zwijn menigeen angst inboezemt of op z’n minst ontzag.

Meet and get to know the pig here!

People appear to have a complicated relationship with the pig. It is a special bond, full of affection, aversion, sentimentality, guilt and, above all, ignorance. A short-breathed, fat, round pig that can barely walk is considered comical and endearing, while a healthy active pig is fearful or at the very least awe-inspiring.

Children can (inter) actively discover the pig here independently, but also in a school context or together with their parents or grandparents. In addition to the important information, you will also encounter all kinds of nice things. For more information about school attendance, click here.
