Cleaning up the products you use to clean your home.
Our mission is to make doing the chores less of a chore while helping you reduce your (and our) impact on the environment.
We never liked the smell of home care products. Yes, they might smell better than a dirty home but they rarely actually smell nice.
It’s especially true in the laundry aisle. It’s full of fictional scents like ‘Laundry Fresh’ and ‘Moonlight Harmony’ – I mean, what the hell does ‘Moonlight’ smell like?
So we’re doing things a little differently. We’ve designed a range of botanical scents where essential oils sit centre stage. (And we don’t make up stupid names for them!) So your home and laundry will smell amazing.
But it’s more than just smelling clean, we wanted a clean conscience too. That’s why our formulas are designed to be kind to the environment. We’re always looking at ways to reduce the impact our products have on our planet.
That’s why we’re using recycled and recyclable plastic in our bottles, all our formulas are biodegradable, we don’t test on animals, we’re registered with the Vegan Society and we don’t use unnecessary ingredients like synthetic dyes.
We will continue to innovate with our formulas and packaging to continually reduce their impact on the environment and increasing our use of recycled materials to divert more waste away from landfills.
Join us on our journey to create kinder products that smell great.
Sam, Founder.
Since the conception of Wilton London, we wanted to do things the right way. We wanted to build an ethical business that did more than just make money – we want Wilton to have a positive impact on the world and people around us.
To help achieve this, we work to a code of ethics that helps guide the way we go about business.
Caring and respecting our environment is at the core of our business. This is incredibly important when developing new products, but it’s also important during the day to day operation of our business.
We do everything we can to use ingredients that are ethically sourced and have a minimal impact on the environment after use. We think carefully about the impact of our actions during a working day, this includes minimising travel, minimising waste and working with suppliers that share our environmental values.
All of our products are made in the UK. We do this for a couple of reasons. This helps us keep our carbon emissions down by reducing the distance our products travel to get to you, our customer. It also helps create high quality jobs for the community where we sell our products.
Producing in the UK means we can ensure the people making our products are treated fairly and paid fairly. Sure, it might be cheaper to make our goods somewhere else, but we would rather our products were made by happy people in a safe environment.
Our packaging is just as important and the formulas it contains. We do a lot of work to make sure our packaging is easy to use and suitable for the job in hand. But it’s also very important our packaging is respectful to our environment.
We use plastic recycled PET packaging for our liquid products because we believe this is the safest and most genuinely eco-conscious form of packaging for our products.
Trust us when we say, we have done a lot of research into this and we will continue to do so. There are lots of new packaging products claiming to be ‘green’ coming to market every day. We look at all of these options, but sadly, most are not as they seem and they are rarely actually better for the environment – they’re usually worse when the bigger picture is taken into consideration.
We avoid using unnecessary plastic. For example our online orders are shipped without plastic. We promise to continually improve our packaging and we promise to only change it when a new solution has genuinely improved eco-credentials.
We’re your biggest fans. By choosing Wilton products you’ve made a choice to do your bit to help protect the world around you. So we promise to treat you like the amazing people you are.
We will always do our best to help with any queries you have as quickly as possible. We will always do our best to answer your quarries as honestly, fairly and as accurately as possible.
