Plans for Sustainable Living
The Garden of Eden Project
Designs for a better world!
Hello, I’ve been a vegan for about 35 years. I became vegan in 1987 after being vegetarian since 1975. It was John Robbin’s book Diet For A New America that convinced me to switch over to being vegan. Great book! I recommend it to anyone!
So I’m a long-term vegan who is a visionary writer/artist with an engineering background. I created a website called The Garden of Eden Project. This project is not religious in nature but rather it is about promoting an ECOLOGICALLY based lifestyle where people live on the land and grow a full spectrum of organic vegan plant foods enough to totally feed themselves.
The Garden of Eden design idea is to have LANDSCAPED fruit and nut trees growing in concentric circles with circular dome-shaped housing in the middle of the circles of trees. There are NO ORCHARDS here! A garden of Eden takes real planning because once you plant a fruit tree it will be there for MANY YEARS and so you better plant it in the RIGHT PLACE to begin with! This is a real Garden of Eden! There are four land parcel designs on the website. Other crops are planted between the trees and in other areas too. I have full-color-engineered designs and data on the website for you to see and use.
Also included in these designs are: a central meeting building (in 2 designs); water fountains; hot tubs; saunas; ponds; flower gardens; basketball courts; tennis courts; parks with waterfalls; outdoor amphitheaters; recreational fields; utility buildings; and more!
I have put a lot of thought into this. Everything there is recycled, even human excrement would be buried and recycled back into the soil while allowing, of course, all the time it needs to revert back to rich topsoil, devoid of harmful bacteria. This is the natural way of replenishing the soil that our culture has gotten away from and we need to get back to it before topsoil becomes worthless, devoid of any nutrients and minerals! Historically speaking, the demise of all the great civilizations on Earth has been due to topsoil loss! We need to start planning for a GOOD future NOW!
There are at least 14 ways that the Garden of Eden lifestyle will be beneficial to the world: 1) smaller carbon footprint, 2) better off ecologically, 3) fewer greenhouse gases, 4) biggest and best selection of fresh, organic plant foods, 5) excrement would be buried, 6) food waste composted, 7) less topsoil loss, 8) less air pollution, 9) more areas available for wildlife habitat, 10) livestock animals will suffer less, 11) less crowding in big cities, 12) far less semi-truck traffic hauling millions of tons of farm food to the cities, 13) far less pollution from all the tractors and farm equipment plowing fields, harvesting etcetera, and finally, 14) people would be happier and healthier!
The fact is that using the plans I have designed there is room enough for every man woman and child on Earth to live this way! It would only require about 12% of the Earth’s surface to accomplish this and people would actually have MORE room than they would living in a city!
Of course, I know that EVERYONE on Earth will not want to live like this. That’s a given. There will still be people who want to live in cities and work in factories, although factories will likely be run more and more by automation.
But all in all if these plans were implemented there would be a lot of benefits to everyone on Earth, directly or indirectly! Please check out the website:
