How to use CBD oil or Water Soluble CBD – What dosage should I take?

How to take CBD oil

When you receive your CBD oil, you will find that you have a bottle with a pipette attached to the bottle top. This is to help you dose your CBD oil drop by drop to go under your tongue.

To make things easier at first, we suggest you go to a mirror so that you can see what you’re doing.

Squeeze the top of the pipette to draw some CBD oil up into the dropper, lift your tongue up so that you can place drops under the tongue.
Lightly squeeze it the pipette so that the oil will slowly drip out one by one and land in your mouth under the tongue.
Hold the oil under the tongue for 1-2 minutes, then swallow. If you want to, you can follow the oil down with any drink of your choice.

The amount of drops you place under your tongue will depend on what dosage you want to take.

What dosage of CBD oil should I take?

Finding the right dosage for you can take some trial and error, the aim is to find a dose that works for you that is also cost effective.

A common starting place is to start at a dose around 20mg.

If this dose worked well for you, you can keep lowering the dose over your next several goes, until you find a dose that doesn’t work.

From this point, you dose slightly above the dose that didn’t work for you to find the most cost-effective dose for you.

On the flip side; if 20mg didn’t work well for you, slowly increase your dose each time over your next several goes to find the most cost-effective dose for you.

How many MG of CBD is there per drop/spray?

Short answer; it depends.

The concentration of CBD per drop or spray depends on what bottle you have bought.

When you buy CBD oil, it should clearly state on the instructions approximately how many MG per drop your bottle of CBD oil has.

For example:

YourHemp 500mg CBD oil 10ml has approximately 2mg of CBD per drop.

So, if you wanted to take a dose around 20mg, you would have to place around 10 drops under the tongue.

2mg x 10 drops = 20mg

YourHemp 1000mg CBD oil 10ml has approximately 4mg of CBD per drop.

So, if you wanted to take a dose around 20mg, you would have to place around 4 drops under the tongue.

4mg x 5 drops = 20mg

YourHemp 2000mg CBD oil 20ml has approximately 4mg of CBD per drop.

So, if you wanted to take a dose around 20mg, you would have to place around 4 drops under the tongue.

4mg x 5 drops = 20mg

What dose of Water Soluble CBD should I take?

If you have bought Water Soluble CBD, it should clearly state how many MG of CBD per spray or drop the bottle has.

When it comes to Water Soluble CBD products, they have a higher bio-availability meaning more CBD is absorbed by the body. This in turn means that the product is stronger and more effective than regular CBD oils.

We would advise to aim for anywhere between 5mg-16mg dose of a Water Soluble CBD product.

For example:

YourHemp Enhance Water Soluble CBD – 250mg has approximately 5mg of CBD per spray.

So, if you wanted to take a dose around 5mg, you would have to place 1 spray under the tongue or in any drink of your choice.

5mg x 1 spray = 5mg

So, if you wanted to take a dose around 8mg, you would have to place 1 spray under the tongue or in any drink of your choice.
