Cornwall has really embraced veganism, and in our little village we are literally spoilt for choice. St Agnes Bakery sell vegan pasties and cake.

The Peterville Inn, Driftwood Spas, Saint Agnes Hotel and the Taphouse all offer vegan options including burgers, tacos, curries, tagines and delicious roasts.

For great coffee, smoothies and vegan treats visit The Sorting Office in the Vicarage Road. On the way down to the beach you’ll find Genki, great for breakfast and lunches. Schooners right on the beach offer vegan options too.

Hop on the bus to Truro and you’ll find great food and a warm welcome at the award winning Cornish Vegan. They serve breakfasts, lunches and amazingly good cakes! Opposite is Archie Browns well stocked vegetarian health shop. Just around the corner in New Bridge Street is Colours Cafe and well-being centre.

On the ground floor is the cafe serving delicious veggie/vegan food, and above is a space offering a range of alternative therapies including massage, reiki and yoga. Uneeka have a gorgeous little cafe above their home ware shop, overlooking Truro. Highly recommend their sharing plates and flapjacks. Sabzi Deli near lemon street market make amazing salads, cinnamon buns and coffee!

Porthtowan is ten minutes drive away and here you’ll find “Natures Treats” 100% vegan, it sells everything from pie to cake, marshmallows to flowers and local pottery! In the summer street food is available from a food van just next door. Places are popping up all the time so please ask us when you visit…
