At the Domaine de Sirius welcomes you in a simple and easy way in the heart of the Périgord Pourpre. We are located in Montferrand du Perigord, in the middle of the Bastide area (Belvès, Monpazier, Cadouin…)

The property dates back from the early 18 th century and has been fully renovated mingling styles: countryside chic with a modern twist. The different outdoor spaces, the permaculture vegetable garden, the pool, the forest of the Domain invite you to reconnect with nature.

TIME FOR YOURSELF

Whether you are coming to the Maison d’hôtes or to one of the retreats, all the workshops and sessions contribute to a transformative experience. They hold the keys of a peaceful everyday life, a body full of energy, a mind connected with the soul and the body. Favorite topics include body and food, Qi Gong and energy rituals, walking and meditation.

The Place

Le Domaine de Sirius is a peaceful heaven located in Perigord Pourpre.

The property dates back from the early 18th century and has been fully renovated in 2021, with a great attention to Feng Shui principles.

The elements have been balanced, the energies have been cleaned, ensuring a peaceful experience.

The owners worked with interior designer Pascale Bensoussan to craft a unique and cosy atmosphere in each room, twisting the countryside inspiration with a modern flair, chic and simple.

Being located in a sunny region, guests may enjoy the pool from spring to autumn, when the weather allows. In winter, a tea by the chimney is an invitation to dive into one of the many good books. The dining room is also a place to share and to meet. The wellness studio is the perfect space for meditation, daily practices, as well as to simply relax and enjoy the herbal tea station.

With different outdoor spaces, a permaculture vegetable garden, a private forest, reconnecting with nature is easy. In the fall, the picking of mushrooms awaits you. Chanterelles season is in spring, blackberries are in the summer and ceps in the fall. Which one is your favorite?

Accomodation

Guests may choose either one of the two stand alone bedrooms facing the garden or a private home called Moon.

Chiron has a double bed (140 by 200cms), a desk, a bathroom with walk in shower and separated toilets.

Neptune has a queen size bed, a desk and the bathroom has a bathtube (but no shower).

Both rooms share a terrace, they have a garden view. And there is plenty closet space to feel at ease.

The villa Moon includes 2 bedrooms, 2,5 bathrooms, a living room and a fully equiped kitchen. You may use the washing machine and the dryer. It comes with a private garden.

It is ideal for a family or a longer stay.

How to reach the property

The property is located in Montferrand du Perigord in the heart of the Bastides area (Belves, Monpazier…)

To access:

The closest train station is le Buisson or Lalinde (20 mins drive) with a train from/ to Bordeaux.
The TGV stations are Bordeaux (2h drive) or Agen (1h10 drive).
The closest airport is Bergerac (45 mins drive) or Bordeaux.
Toulouse is 2h30 drive.
