We decided to give the name “Ohana” to our luxury residence because we would like our guests to feel at ease like “in a family”

The Apartment

Location

Ohana is located inside the ancient walls of Moniga Castle

The apartment is located inside the ancient walls of Moniga’s Castle, right in front of the Mastio (Italian term for dungeon) which leads to the Castle. Ohana is composed of a spacious living room provided with a kitchen and a bed settee, a double room, a toilet, a balcony, a terrace and a private indoor car park.

You will live a unique experience thanks to the awesomeness of staying at an historical dwelling, finely redecorated following the modern standard.

From the blooming balcony, you can enjoy a wonderful view recalling medieval landscapes; the furnished terrace will host you during your resting moments or your yummy breakfast.

A wonderful olives garden and centuries-old plants surround the Castle where you can enjoy the breeze coming from the northern part of the lake.

Just outside the castle walls, you will stand entranced in front of the breathtaking view of the entire Lake Garda: the Rock of Manerba, the Sirmione Peninsula, San Martino della Battaglia Tower, up to the Verona and the Trento shore.

Ohana is provided with every comfort, as we are fully convinced that holidays, such as everyday life, have to be lived to their max, marked by comfort and prosperity.

The Vegan cuisine is our passion and entertainment too. We aim at satisfying even the most demanding palates, creating a menu that has to be healthy, balanced, organic but especially yummy.

The first treat of the day

As like I cook for my family, I cook exactly for our guests: I prefer using organic products, mostly “farm-to-table”, with a mix of colors and tastes able to tease even the most refined palates and to satisfy the more demanding ones.

It has been about 10 years that I do not use any sugar in my recipes, replacing it with natural sweeteners with a reduced glycemic index like rice malt, creating healthy but tasty desserts. My cuisine is mainly vegan, and my challenge is to attract even those more skeptics to this diet, taking them.. for the throat.

Our typical breakfast includes rice milk (or soy one), wholemeal bread, sugar free jam, cakes, biscuits, fresh fruit, kanten, dry fruit, wholemeal cereals cream or pudding. That is the right meal to start every day of your unforgettable holiday on Lake Garda!
