Vegan B&B in Lamlash on the beautiful Isle of Arran
Stonewater House overlooks Lamlash pier and Holy Isle. Lamlash is the perfect base to explore the island, experience the stunning scenery, or relax on one of the island’s seven golf courses.
A friendly welcome, comfortable accommodation in a modern house, and delicious wholesome plant based food await you.
We look forward to welcoming you to Arran.
In 2018 Carol and Jules Lee bought Stonewater House B&B in Lamlash Bay on the Isle of Arran and relaunched it as the island’s first plant-based/vegan Bed & Breakfast.
We switched to a plant based diet in January 2017, and very soon after went 100% vegan. We are loving this new lifestyle (and better health – in 2019 Jules ran his first 10K race in over 30 years) and we passionately want to share it, and plant based nutrition, with others.
In 2019 Carol completed Dr T. Colin Campbell’s Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate Program at Cornell University.
The Isle of Arran is known as “Scotland in Miniature” as it has a little bit of everything from the highlands to the lowlands, an abundance of wildlife, awe-inspiring walks, hikes and views and wonderful beaches. Arran has long been a love of Carol’s, since childhood holidays, and Jules fell in love with it the moment he stepped off the ferry!
We offer delicious plant based breakfasts and are planning various events in due course, including yoga and meditation retreats; nature walking holidays; introduction to the vegan lifestyle weekends and seminars; poetry and writing retreats and others.
We really look forward to welcoming you to Stonewater House and our beautiful island.
