The White Pig Bed and Breakfast is named after our very first Miniature Pot-Bellied Pig, Norman. The bed and breakfast consists of a lovely restored mid 19th Century Virginia Farmhouse, a Turn of the Century Victorian House and a private cottage.

The White Pig Bed and Breakfast offers an assortment of lodging options from a cozy and quaint mid century Farmhouse, to a Turn of the Century Victorian or a private and secluded pet friendly cottage. The White Pig Bed and Breakfast is decorated with our beloved pig and antique collection.

Each guest room is named after one of our adorable pigs and is decorated with antique and antique replica furniture that reflects the personality of its namesake. Our commons areas include a covered front porches, a communal living room in the main Guesthouse, a hot tub, gardens and nature trails for your enjoyment. The White Pig Bed and Breakfast overlooks meadows, mature forest and distant views of Appleberry Mountain and the famed Walton’s Mountain.

See The Rooms

We have an assortment of room choices from cozy & unique rooms in our 1906 Victorian Folk Farmhouse or a private guest cottage. Rooms can be rented individually or you can rent the entire 1906 Victorian Folk Farmhouse for your family, (family get togethers) or small events.

The Norman Room

This room is located in The Main Guest House (aka the pink house) on the first floor. The room features a queen size bed, with meadows views. It has a private en suite bathroom with tiled shower. It has access to a communal living room with a television, mini fridge and microwave.

The Jacob Room

This room is located in the the main Guesthouse (aka The Pink House) on the second floor. The room features a king sized four poster bed with a giant picture window overlooking beautiful winter mountain views and summer mature forest views. It has a private bathroom with a claw foot (shower/tub combo) as well a separate water closet. This room has access to a communal living room with a gas fireplace, TV, guest fridge, and a microwave.

The Olive Room

This room is located in the main Guesthouse (aka The Pink House) on the second floor. The room features a king sized four poster mahogany bed in a light filled room, overlooking beautiful meadow with distant forest views. It has a small, private en suite, recently renovated bathroom with a tiled shower. This room has access to a communal living room with a gas fireplace, TV, guest fridge, and a microwave.

The Willoughby Room

This room is located in the main Guesthouse (aka The Pink House) on the second floor. The room features an antique double bed and a twin day bed, overlooking the front and rear of the house. This room can only be rented in conjunction with the Jacob Room. The Willoughby Room shares it bathroom with a hall bathroom (s) in the Jacob Room.

The Food

The meals are healthy vegan (100% pure vegetarian) dishes and organic when available.
Vegan bag lunches are available to guests with prior notice daily.

Sample Breakfast may include:

• Organic Belgian waffles with fresh strawberries
• Blueberry pancakes with soy “bacon”.
• Caribbean banana cinnamon pancakes with soy sausage
• Soy based vegetable frittatas with a whole wheat bagel and fresh fruit
• Scrambled tofu and organic vegetables with home fries and whole wheat toast
• Choice of organic herbal teas or coffee
• Choice of organic juices
• Afternoon snacks and drinks are served to guests. This may include homemade lemonade or iced herbal tea with fresh baked goods.
