Natural Birthing Company is an award-winning, go-to product range for pregnancy and beyond that is loved by mums all over the world.

Natural Birthing Company was born in January 2011, as two Midwives we initially offered HypnoBirthing and Antenatal classes but soon had ideas of how to expand our care for pregnant women and new mums. We wanted to offer products that would really help women at this time of life; as Midwives and mothers ourselves we know and understand the problems women face during this journey.

We come from a background of aromatherapy as we trained to use this in our NHS workplace so we have seen it work for women. For example on the postnatal wards we make compresses for breast engorgement, low milk supply and sore nipples and witness women finding immediate relief both physically and emotionally. With a passion for all things natural (Hence “Natural” Birthing Company) we decided to bring together all of our experience and knowledge to develop naturally based products specifically safe for use in pregnancy and after birth.

By May 2011 we attended the “Baby Show” at the Birmingham NEC promoting our pilot Aromatherapy product range.The feedback we received was really positive; they loved our products, which led us to attend other baby shows in Milton Keynes and Nottingham in the same year.

We started to get interest from a Major retailer which spurred us on to review our range and make it ready for the high street. Our products have undergone a huge development and we were very excited to launch our new capsule range of natural skincare products for pregnant women and new mums at the Harrogate Nursery Trade Fair 2014.

We later exhibited in the Natural Beauty and Spa area of the Natural & Organic Products Europe in London where we were inundated by representatives from all over the World wanting our products. (Watch this space!!) We are very proud of our range and have received great feedback from the trade and customers alike, so we hope you will like it too!

All of our products are carefully made in the UK and we use premium naturally derived ingredients to give you peace of mind when safely relieving your common pregnancy and postpartum symptoms.

Each and every one of our products have been approved by the Vegan Society and we are very proud to say that we do not test any of our products or our ingredients on animals, nor do our very carefully selected suppliers.

Our aim is to be as natural as possible (they don’t call us Natural Birthing Company for no reason!) This not only means that we do not use harmful ingredients (including Sodium Lauryl Sulphate – SLS, parabens, mineral oils and synthetic colours and fragrances), but it also means that we are committed to using recyclable BPA free packaging and we are always looking to improve on our eco-friendly and ethical footprints.
