Our Story
The belief in the magical power of healing mineral water is in our family DNA! When my father was a child, my grandmother would regularly take him to visit the therapeutic natural salt lakes and caves of Hungary, where he lived before moving to England. Simply bathing in the water or inhaling salt
from the mines would have a magical effect on their skin, health and wellbeing.
This is what inspired my father to pursue the challenge of infusing natural spa minerals into skincare. It wasn’t an easy task – salty water has a unique chemistry that is challenging to work with! But after many years’ research he cracked it and established the world’s first line of mineral-infused spa skincare.

Mineral water has been used to treat skin since time immemorial. From man’s first dip in the ocean… mineral water makes our skin feel good. It cleans and hydrates, treats soreness and irritation, accelerates the healing process and relieves aches and pains, easing tension through the whole body.
If we could, we’d bathe in the sea every day! When we can’t… we can recreate the experience using pure Spa ingredients to deliver the same effects.

OUR BODY NEEDS MINERALS
The human body is made from 70% mineral water. Minerals play a vital role in maintain skin function but are easily depleted through stress and lifestyle factors.
When we are mineral deficient we become vulnerable to a variety of health problems and skin conditions, which can also affect our wellbeing. Mineral deficiency contributes to many common skin conditions we may suffer; dryness, irritation, eczema, psoriasis, acne and premature skin ageing.

We have spent 30 years perfecting the infusion of mineral salts into skincare products and treatments in order to deliver outstanding results and relief from skin concerns.

When our business first launched, we were featured on the BBC News as ‘a revolutionary cure for psoriasis & eczema’ and our products have always been exceptional at treating dry skin in all its various guises.
It’s the minerals we infuse into our skincare products that are beneficial in balancing the hydration levels in our skin cells, soothing and nourishing even the most troublesome of dry skin.

Sea Magik ingredients are hand selected for their natural mineral content and ability to nourish skin.
We source the finest quality salts, muds, seaweeds and plant extracts for our products, blended through a base of highly concentrated mineral water to create a gentle but highly effective skincare treatment.
COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABILITY
As a business we are commited to becoming ever more sustainable in our approach to sourcing and processing materials.
We are prioritising the development of sustainably sourced, renewable materials and minimal plastic. We use reduced plastic pouches for our Sea Magik salts, carbon neutral plastic derived from sugar cane across Sea Magik skincare and infinitely recyclable glass with recycled wooden caps for the Sea Magik PRO line.
