Our Ingredients

Hydroxyapatite is the mineral used by our bodies to make our teeth and bones. It is highly biocompatible with us and the planet. Hydroxyapatite works with fluoride to replace lost minerals in your tooth enamel. It can help to strengthen soft spots in your enamel, reduce sensitivity and improve whiteness.

Papain is an enzyme from papaya fruit. It helps to stop new stains sticking to your teeth.

Vitamin E (tocopherol) is a well known antioxidant, and is widely used in skincare. Antioxidants like vitamin E can help to reduce inflammation in your gum tissue.

Potassium citrate gently helps sensitive teeth. It is a form of the mineral potassium.

100% natural flavour. We use a unique combination of 5 natural flavours to give Happier Beauty Toothpaste it’s distinctive intense fresh and minty taste.

Cocomidopropyl betaine. Toothpaste needs a little foam to help lift debris from your teeth and gums. Coconut oil has been lightly processed to give a gentle foamer (this is the least processed foamer we can find).

Stevioside. We don’t use artificial sweeteners. We use a tiny bit of natural Stevia to sweeten Happier Beauty Toothpaste.

Hydrated silica helps to gently remove old stains. We use a patented blend of soft rounded silica to help remove stains on your teeth without abrasion.

Fluoride is a well known mineral which helps to prevent tooth decay. It works alongside hydroxyapatite to replace lost minerals and strengthen your tooth enamel.

Glycerin. We use a plant based glycerin to stop Happier Beauty Toothpaste from drying out.

Water is used to make Happier Beauty Toothpaste runny so it can be squeezed out of the tube easily.

Cellulose gum is sourced from plants and helps to keep Happier Beauty Toothpaste always squeezable.

Limonene is a naturally occurring component of our natural flavours.

Happier Beauty tubes are traditional aluminium. Aluminium is one of the easiest and most efficient materials to recycle which does not lose quality (unlike plastic). This means it can be recycled again and again. Just empty the tube (our Easy Squeeze Key helps to get every drop out!) and put tube in your home aluminium or metal recycling.

Our caps are white plastic and can be put in your home plastic recycling. We chose white because it is easier to recycle than coloured plastic. We are currently looking into a return and reuse process for caps.
Postal packaging

At Happier Beauty our post packaging is a large part of the impact we make and so we constantly review it to make sure it is the most environmentally sound option we can find. Since we launched Happier we have already improved the sustainability of our post packaging at least twice. We buy in small amounts to reduce packaging waste.

Our padded envelopes are fully recyclable. They are 100% paper and are both FSC and Aticelca 501 certified. At Happier Beauty we pay extra for high quality envelopes so you can reuse it, and hopefully it can be reused many times.

The tissue we use to protect our aluminium tubes from getting dented whilst in transit is 100% recycled, and is of course, recyclable too.

We use 100% recycled paper stock for the info insert and thank you card in your order.

And finally, both the address sticker and the Happier Beauty logo sticker on the envelope are made from 100% recycled paper stock, and can also be recycled too ❤︎

Did you know aluminium is one of the easiest and energy efficient materials is to recycle? Nearly 75 percent of all aluminium produced is still in use today. This means it is one of the most recycled materials on the planet! Aluminium can be recycled directly back into itself over and over again with almost no energy loss. This is a true closed loop.

Return your Happier Lid!

You can now send your lids from your Happier toothpaste tubes back to us at Happier Towers and we’ll wash and sterilise the lids so they can be reused on future Happier toothpaste orders. As our aluminium tubes can be endlessly recycled without losing quality, if you return your lid to be reused it means Happier toothpaste is completely circular!
