Having been deeply moved by the Animal Rights documentary “Earthlings” and the extreme cruelty behind the leather industry, cruelty free brand Hurtig Lane was born in 2016 by Cerian and Michael in Barcelona.

We are passionate about fashion which promotes animal welfare and our protecting our planet.

We are committed to not using leather or any other animal-based materials in our designs.

Reputation is incredibly important to us. Our aim is to not only offer fashionable watches and accessories but products that wear well and last.

Unlike most Fashion brands, we don’t offer a small alternative for vegans, everything we offer is vegan friendly.

Q Is Hurtig Lane a fully vegan brand?

YES! We are passionate about animal welfare and we will never use animal-based materials in any of our products, as well as being committed to never testing our products on animals. Our products are built to last and far out rival our animal-based alternatives.

Q How are you sustainable?

We are always striving to be as sustainable as possible. Our watch straps are made from either recycled materials and cotton fibres, we also have a new plant-based alternative coming soon. Cactus leather needs very little water, carbon and energy to be produced.
Our jewellery is made from 100% recycled silver.
Our makeup brushes are made from wood or bamboo rather than plastic!

We avoid plastic with all of our packaging.
