Teaching compassionate treatment toward ALL
Loving Farm Animal Sanctuary provides a forever home to animals who were rescued from slaughter in the Animal Agriculture industry. We also adopt and give lifetime care to companion animals who were homeless, abused or in danger. At Loving Farm we provide food, shelter, medical care, and lots of love to over 50 animals (from 9 species) at our hilltop sanctuary in beautiful Paso Robles, California.
Our 16-acre property resides in San Luis Obispo County wine country, where we are surrounded by cattle ranches, the County Fair, and a farming culture in which many people view animals as commodities instead of individuals. We chose this location because we want to help people see ALL animals as individuals who deserve to live free from exploitation of any kind.
Our mission is to open people’s hearts and minds to extend compassion to ALL species. Tracey and Bill Soucy, the Co-Founders, are vegan. Their passion is to set an example of protecting animals, the Planet, and human health, and to educate about the benefits of adopting a compassionate vegan lifestyle.
We are a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization, ID number: 47-1018772.
We guarantee love, shelter, food, and medical care for all of our farmed family members for life. We never adopt out and we only take in as many rescues as we can care for properly. Become a monthly member to help us welcome more rescued individuals.
Our mission is to share our Loving Farm Family Members’ stories to promote compassion towards all living beings. We host group tours and events to encourage visitors to see our family for the charming individuals they are. We also welcome volunteers and host volunteer orientations to bring in new volunteers.
We host regular community events at our sanctuary where our guests, both vegans and non-vegans alike, can learn about our amazing furry and feathered rescued individuals. We see our visitors open their hearts to compassion toward other beings as they rub one of our pig’s bellies or get followed around the paddock by our curious turkeys. We hope to nurture those feelings with information and a hopeful outlook that anyone can be vegan!
We welcome volunteers at Loving Farm! Our volunteers are integral to our mission and are crucial to running the sanctuary. Can you help clean a barn? Chop vegetables? Feed our pigs? Cuddle a turkey? If you are not physically able to help with farm chores please let us know other ways you would like to help. Volunteering is fun and gratifying. Plus, you get to meet like-minded folks! If you’re interested, please fill out an application!
Note: All volunteer applicants must attend a one hour Volunteer Orientation. At this orientation we will give an overview of our volunteer activities and you will meet most of our rescued animals. When we receive your volunteer application we will notify you of the date and time of our next orientation. We look forward to hearing from you!
