About the Farm

Arion Therapeutic Farm is a peaceful sanctuary nestled in the picturesque Trinity Valley in Enderby, B.C. It is a special place where people of all ages and abilities interact with rescued farm animals and horses. You leave feeling better than when you arrived. That’s the “therapeutic” part!

We accept cash, debit and credit!

Arion was founded in 2009 initially as a registered charity for persons living with disabilities utilizing horses in therapy and transitioned to a social enterprise in 2016. A Community Contribution Company is a hybrid entity where the mission must be community benefit and profits rolled back into the company. This allows us to be more creative with income creation and be less dependent on donations to operate. The goal is to be self sufficient and we achieve that through providing amazing value for service.

We invite you to come and meet our amazing animals anytime of the year! We guarantee you will leave feeling better than you arrived!

What is a farm tour?

Arion farm tours provide each visitor with a truly unique and memorable experience. We visit and touch as many as 40 animals who all enjoy human interactions (rubs & scratches). Volunteer guides share the stories of each animal as well as information about farm animal life, agriculture and our environment.

Tours are guided to ensure your safety as our animals are free roaming in large pastures spread over 27 acres. Each tour has no more than 10 guests but if you prefer a completely private tour, we would be pleased to create a custom package for your family or small group. Visitors are welcome to stay after their tour and enjoy our nature play spaces and creekside picnic areas.

Accessible tours in our 6 seater ATV are also available on request. In addition, school field trips and birthday gatherings will be welcome! Behind the Scenes tours will be conducted by one of the Founders and includes more up close and personal interactions. Think you want to have a farm one day? This tour is for you!

More information on booking and pricing will be made available this Winter. We look forward to opening in the Spring of 2022.

Support the Farm

As an animal sanctuary we have a lot of mouths to feed, we are extremely grateful to individuals or corporations who are able to donate their time or money.

Ways to Support Us:

Arion has attracted thousands of volunteers over its 12 years in Kelowna. From committed weekly animal care volunteers to office work parties; secondary/post secondary practicum experiences; international farm stays and persons living with challenges; there is something for everyone to help with! Spending time working alongside animals in a peaceful nature setting offers a multitude of benefits and at the same time helps our farm stay clean and organized.

In today’s busy world, people are generally less available and unable to make a long term commitment. Sometimes people are between jobs or perhaps looking for inspiration. Volunteering with us not only helps our animals and farm, it guarantees you will leave feeling happier than when you arrive!

Here is how to become a volunteer:

1) Go to the RCMP to request a Criminal Record Check, which will be mailed to us (~4-6 weeks).

2) Complete Animal Interaction Waiver and the Over 18 or Under 18 Volunteer Form and email to

3) Complete an orientation at the farm.

Adult Volunteers

Our adult volunteers are extremely important to the well-being of the farm.

Junior Volunteers

Our Junior volunteer program was created to provide a structured and educational experience for young teens in our community. This program is for youth between 13 and 18 that can work independently.

Individual Donations

We have a lot of mouths to feed here at the farm and are so grateful for the generosity of individuals from our community and visitors who come from across BC and Alberta.

Become a Patron

While you may not be able to visit the farm yet (opening September long weekend 2021) you can become a patron which includes action-packed weekly farm videos… all for only $5/month.
