Organic Vegan Skincare

Our mission is to do the right thing for you and your skin. By creating products that are so natural, ethical and sustainable they have goodness built in.

Every Pai product is formulated and manufactured in our London HQ. Our organic ingredients are the jewel in our crown and we don’t trust anyone else to touch them.

We can say for certain that there’s good in everything we make, because the formulation is 100% ours.

We are independently certified by COSMOS (Soil Association), Cruelty Free International and The Vegan Society.

Getting these accreditations is no walk in the park – all levels of our business are scrutinised and we are audited annually to check our standards haven’t slipped.

While this means a lot of hard graft and sometimes making difficult calls, we believe you get out what you put in.

We independently patch test all our products to make sure they’re suitable for both sensitive and eczema-prone skin.

Our Founder’s Story

“Out of the blue, my usually calm skin became irritated, hyper-sensitive and acne-prone. Trying to keep it under control was a daily battle and finding products that didn’t contain problem ingredients brought a whole new challenge.

I‘d reached a dead-end with a cabinet full of products claiming to be “hypoallergenic” and “organic”, let down by their ingredient lists full of synthetics and irritants.

I just wanted effective skincare I could trust and depend on and creating Pai was my way of taking back control.

Pai is everything I wanted as a customer; skincare made with effective, organic ingredients, no nonsense marketing and a brand that understands products are just one piece of the puzzle.“

Sarah's Story

Sarah Brown, Pai Skincare Founder

The Soil Association

So you can be sure our certified organic products are truly organic, we are accredited by the Soil Association.

This involves third party checks, annual inspections, detailed production records and traceability paperwork that guarantee:

– Pai products carrying the Soil Association kitemark are 100% natural and at least 70% of (non-water) ingredients are organically grown and harvested.

– All of our organic ingredients are non-GM, sustainably grown (without pesticides) and harvested, and extracted without the use of chemical solvents.

– Any non-organic ingredients we include have passed strict toxicity and biodegradability criteria and carry a non-GM certificate.

What is Pai Labs?

This is our new incubator branch of the brand. We created it to enable our creative cosmetic scientists to  bring their innovative product ideas to market fast. Without the long-lead timelines usually associated with new product launches.

Your own Idea?

Pai Labs will provide a platform for you to have your say about the products you want us to make, whether it’s changing up scents on classic Pai products to ingredients you want to see in new formulations.

Got an idea? We’d love to hear it.

INGREDIENTS WE AVOID

Today, we take our commitment to sensitive skin seriously. You’ll never see any of those ingredients I couldn’t use on my own skin in our products.

Formulating without some of them is tough, but so worth it. Be kind to your skin and it will be kind to you.”

Sensitive skin needs to be handled with care and we have a strict policy on ingredients.

Here are some common potential irritants we’ll never use in our products – and you might want to avoid too.

RECYCLING BY US. RECYCLING BY YOU.

Moving towards a more sustainable future has always been of the utmost importance to our founder, Sarah.

“Landfill and the concept of burying your rubbish out of sight (and out of mind), offends me a lot. We’ve made a lot of progress this year in making our packaging more sustainable, while ensuring it continues to protect your product as efficiently as possible. We’ve eliminated leaflets and introduced recycled material into over 80% of our retail tubes. We have also invested in bioplastic from sugarcane which is a renewable and sustainable source of packaging.”

Now we are excited to introduce the first phase of our recycling scheme.
We hope you will join us. Check out here to find more info about it- https://www.paiskincare.com/pages/recycling
